The beautiful weather carried into Friday, and the growing excitement was impossible to miss.

Live bands took the stage, and the legendary MC, the one and only POGO, showed up once again, entertaining the crowd with his signature humor and energy. Body painters were also busy throughout the event.
The comforting scent of campfires spread through the air as the 30th edition of the gathering got off to an incredible start. Later that evening, a massive American flag was displayed at the main stage and signed by hundreds of attendees.
The flag was meant to be presented to a selected military unit serving in Afghanistan. The line of people waiting to sign it stretched on for quite a while — a moment that truly made everyone feel proud.
